"Chill'n in Briland", dog painting on Harbour Is.

I absolutely LOVE it. Different from a lot of your other works - but it's SPOT ON! Great feel and capture of the moment. I want to touch that nose and big lips and chase him/her around the beach. Throw a ball in the water whatever... :-)

"Compass Cay" painting

I love your work and especially this one. I admire its simplicity. It portrays a place often overlooked.I like that. Thank you for your comments about "Patch of Blue". I employ an impressionists' palette and I love to pump as much color in as possible, but I enjoy your use of soft blues as well.

Back in Florida

Dear Fans and Friends,

Well I'm back from another amzing adventure, a cross Atlantic to Italy on a gorgeous 150' expedition yacht "Big Aron". I was hired as chef for the crossing and we did the Boat Show in Genoa, Italy. I then headed off to Cannes for the Film Festival and visit some artists friends. I am back in Fort Lauderdale, inspired and ready to start my next painting, will it be a Mediterranean seascape or something from my last voyage to New England. I will be posting a new painting soon so it will be a surprise!

Good to be back in America!

Anything & Everything Blue Art Exhibit

The Windish-Hunt Gallery was full of friends. I counted over 150 people at one time and all night people came and went.

There are about five exhibits happening at once in the this large space and all the aritsts were out to meet the public. Wine flowed and everyone enjoyed mingling among the art. I saw artists Sheri Friedman, Audrey Gibson, Dylan Terry, Dan Bondroff, Karen Dielke, Chris Fowler, Uta, Danielle Perry and more. It seemed as if all the local artists were in one location.

The More I See Your Work

HI... The more of your work I see, the more I am impressed. You are very versatile. And..you have a great eye.. ..I get the sense from your work and your marketing drive that you are very serious about what you do.

From what I have seen ..you have extraordinary abilities. You are ... kind of like..... a good looking ...Frieda Kahlo :)-

I think..you have the potential to be truly a great painter. Some of your paintings are fantastic. Your Animal portraits are wonderful....world class.I particularly like the wide eyed dog and the statue in the flora...really special works. You will be very successful..I have no doubt. Your skill combined with your marketing savvy will be very potent.

I am sure you are well aware of your abilities too. I get the sense that inside you have perfect confidence in yourself. Rightfully so. I can see it too. You have the potential to reach a really high level.

Hi Everyone,

Well I have been really busy these past few months with art shows, moving my studio to a new location in Rio Vista, yacht trips and working as personal chef...I am presently preparing for my next art show on March 7th at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton, Florida. I will be featuring original paintings and prints of a new series of sea turtle and marine paintings. My emphasis will be on little "POLLYE" the baby loggerhead which has captured my heart and has inspired me to paint and help with sea turtle conservation and education.

I hope to see you at Gumbo Limbo Saturday, March 7. It promises to be a fun day and it's for a good cause!

Danielle
I really like the way that chose to capture animals in less formal postures. You choice to sort of catch them off guard gives the observer a feel the reality of the life of the animal. Your Free Spirit is a good example and it also shows your appreciation for the anatomy of the subject - very nice job! The whimsical "view" in a couple of your pieces should bring a smile to anyone priviledged to see them.

Kindest regards,
